  • You can search it using Google search it as “best custom ROM<your phone model>
  • However, you make sure it’s for your specific device are compatible.
  • Now you should download it to your computer.
  • Most custom ROMs that you download are not installed GApps. GApps is not a custom ROM which it included so many applications such play store, Gmail, Google calendar, Gmail and more Google Applications most Android do not need install GApps why they have installed it normally.

If the GApps aren’t pre-installed, then you should download them to your computer .However, GApps should be compatible with your Android version you are going to achieve and save both files on your computer.

  • Connect your phone to the computer.

You should transfer both zip files such as custom ROM and GApps to your Android device.

  • Then you should turn off your phone and go to the recovery mode. Which it differ Android phone to another phone as well as from one brand to another.

Example:

If you have Samsung Galaxy S4 when you are pressing and holding the volume up and the home   button and the power button all together in same time.
